Under the framework of the Erasmus+ project “DIGITAL MOVE” – Bridging the Digital Gap between Mongolia and Vietnam through Digital Transformation in Higher Education Institutions, UEH has reinforced and scaled up its blended- and hybrid-learning capabilities, laying the foundation for a modern, flexible, and resilient education system. Building on earlier efforts to digitize teaching and learning, UEH has institutionalized hybrid classrooms and remote-learning infrastructure, providing a seamless combination of in-person and online modalities for students and lecturers.

UEH has officially adopted hybrid teaching modality across its campuses, enabling learners to choose either on-campus or online participation without sacrificing the completeness or quality of their instruction. Classrooms equipped with cameras, microphones, interactive screens, and stable connectivity allow simultaneous delivery of lectures to both online and in-person audiences – a capability that reflects UEH’s commitment to digitalization and teaching excellence.

Beyond its own classrooms, the university has shared hybrid-teaching expertise and digital infrastructure with the broader educational community. By transferring hybrid-classroom technology, remote-teaching tools, and pedagogical know-how to partner high schools and other institutions (for example through free training courses and resource sharing), UEH is extending the impact of digital transformation beyond its campus, contributing to broader educational resilience and equity.

It not only enhances teaching resilience and learning flexibility, but also reinforces UEH’s role as a leader in digital transformation — locally and regionally — enabling broader access to quality higher education despite geographic or situational constraints.
